School at Calebasse

We support many non-profit groups in the community. We give groups an opportunity to raise money by selling Wilson’s Gift Cards. For each $25 gift card sold, the group keeps $5 as profit. This program runs from October 1^st through April 1^st each year. Call or come to our office and make arrangements to be part of this fund raiser for your group.

Relay For Life

Help support Team Wilson's Home Grown & Healthy as we raise money for Relay For Life. We will be walking on June 1st at the TJ Evan Athletic Complex. Food Pantry

We have a special heart for the hungry in our community. Each year we sponsor different activities where we take collections of food and money to give to the Marne Food Pantry to help feed those who need help.

Youth in Haiti

Haiti is one of the poorest countries in the world. The extreme poverty there makes it difficult for people to live. Ned and Mitzie Wilson have been part of mission trips to the mountains of Haiti and have developed a special relationship with the people in Calebasse, Haiti. Education in Haiti is not free as each family has to pay for their children’s education. Wilson’s Garden Center sponsors a child, Michiseda Derosier, in her schooling each month. We are showing pictures and the monthly costs for other children in Calebasse who need sponsors for their education. If you have an interest, we can help make arrangements for you to sponsor a child. It is simple and easy, and every dollar goes to helping the child you choose. Please take a look at the pictures and think about it.

We want to sponsor meals for the kids who go to the church school in Calebasse. Most of the kids go to school hungry and need some kind of nourishment to concentrate on their studies. It will cost about $100 a week to feed all of these kids a good meal each day. If you are interested in helping, we are taking donations at the registers.
